Properties in Paradise pieces
Phase one of this ongoing project was to develop their company website. Before it was designed I also helped define the structure and functionality. Its main purpose is to list Villa rentals, real estate for sale as well as provide information about their company, the locations and their services.
Additionally, I worked in tandem and supervised a backend developer in the design and development of a 100% custom Content Management System completely crafted to the client’s needs. It allows them to fully control their website content in an uncluttered and modern way. Among others, they can fully customize the information for each property listing and it dynamically populates the maps to show their location. We also integrated a customer service live chat and a reservation system for the rental side.
Every property listed for sale gets their own website customized with unique content including images and colors. This is an ongoing need so we had to come up with an efficient solution to quickly generate these sites without adding additional systems. Within the same backend we developed a section were the staff at Properties In Paradise can easily and quickly generate and populate these websites and then customize their entire content. I helped with the strategy, structure and testing of this entire custom system. The frontend was developed in PHP/mySQL and the backend was developed using Laravel, PHP and mySQL.
